How much does a Desktop Anywhere subscription cost?
The cost of a subscription depends on the number of users and the degree of personalisation of the platform.
Most of our customers have costs that are lower or equal to those of a physical in-house infrastructure.
In addition, the expense is spread out naturally over time and no investment is needed.

Do I still own my data once they are integrated into my Desktop Anywhere?
Yes, Desktop Anywhere customers still completely own their data.
This is defined by contract.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Any computer that is less than 7 years old can connect to Desktop Anywhere. Therefore it is not necessary to replace your computers to benefit from the advantages of Desktop Anywhere. Another saving that is by no means insignificant.
If your PC breaks down, is stolen or destroyed, all you have to do is reconnect to your virtual office from any other workstation. You are immediately operational.
The type or brand of your computer therefore does not really matter.
Can I use my personal programs in my virtual office?
Yes. As long as you have a licence, usage right and/or legitimate property rights according to the envisaged use.
We are used to integrating and supporting the latest programs on the market (accounting programs, home banking, etc.).
This is one of the numerous advantages of Desktop Anywhere in comparison to purely web applications.
Can I use my own printer?
Yes, you can print remotely stored documents on a local printer.
Is there a customer support service?
Yes. A support service is available to customers through support tickets included in the chosen contract.
Our team provides the general IT helpdesk 24/7 for all your other requests and troubleshooting: installation, configuration and help for the PC, smartphone, tablet, printer etc.
Is it possible to get support outside office hours?
Yes. Desktop Anywhere customers can benefit from support outside office hours.

What is the difference between Desktop Anywhere and Google Apps?
Google Apps is a relatively elementary and purely web-based application.
It does not allow you to use your specific software in any way, or even your own developments in Excel, Access, etc.
Can I also migrate my telephone and fax lines into my Desktop Anywhere?
Yes. Thanks to our DA VoIP option, we can offer you the ability to migrate telephone lines to our public Cloud by sharing the costs.
It is no longer necessary to have telephone switchboards per site within your company. This, again, makes for a good saving.

Is Desktop Anywhere compatible with Apple/Mac?
Yes, Desktop Anywhere is compatible with Apple products. Whether you are using a MacBook, an iPad or an iPhone, you can access your virtual office.
I use a Mac but I can't run Windows applications on it.
Can Desktop Anywhere solve
my problem?
Of course! Desktop Anywhere widens the horizon for Mac users.
Thanks to your virtual office, you can use Windows applications (accounting programs, for example) whilst working on your Mac.
And a little 
if you use an iPhone or an iPad, you can work in your Windows applications using your fingers.

My Internet connection is cut off. Are my unsaved documents lost?
If the place where you are working finds itself without Internet or without electricity, your connection to Desktop Anywhere will be interrupted but your unsaved documents will not be lost!
Whilst waiting for the Internet or the electricity to be restored, you can reconnect to your virtual office from another access point or by using a mobile Internet connection (3G, UMTS, etc.) and you will find your documents intact, even if they hadn't been saved yet!
In fact, you will find your office just as you left it.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with the Desktop Anywhere solution?
You have 30 days from the installation of your Desktop Anywhere to change your mind.
If you are not satisfied with the solution, all your data will be restored to you.

Therefore doctors, lawyers, company auditors and accountants can all use Desktop Anywhere in their daily tasks, in complete security and following the rules imposed by the Association or the Bar on which they depend
Where are the servers that are hosting my data?
Our servers that host your data are in highly protected data centres (minimum Tier 3), located in Belgium, to which our teams have 24-hour access.

No, the installation and maintenance of the programs installed in the virtual office are the responsibility of our Customer Support Department.
Do I have administrator rights in my virtual office?
No, not in the standard packages.

Can you install my Microsoft Office licences in my virtual office?
No. The principle of the "virtual office" is subject to very strict rules in terms of use and management of licences.
All our packages follow licence rental rules. Therefore, you are sure to be working with the latest version of Microsoft Office completely legally.
Can I synchronise my PDA with Desktop Anywhere?
Yes, this is possible.
Can I change my login
& passwords myself?
That depends on the configuration requested by your company.
Can I buy the licences which I'm renting in my virtual office?
No, these licences are subject to the usage and management rules governing rented licences.
They are not transferable and you do not own them.
Are my data, favourites, e-mails etc. imported into my virtual office?
Yes. Unlike certain web applications, Desktop Anywhere's virtual office is not limited to blank storage space.
We import your data, your e-mails, your contacts, your applications* and even your favourites!
We also recover your accounting and bank applications, electronic signatures, etc. You continue to use your card readers and you do not lose the use of the existing mail server.
* applications: any software for which the Customer states and guarantees possession of a licence, usage right and/or legitimate property rights according to its envisaged use, for the period that the Desktop Anywhere contract is valid.
Is the speed of use of the virtual office lower than it would be for my local installation?
Our servers are very powerful and can be accessed via very fast Internet connections.
If you also have a good Internet connection, the speed of use may even be greater than that obtained with
a local server.
